Try Copper Harbor Michigan

(New Haven, CT)

Visitor Suggestion: Copper Harbor is a truly fantastic place to visit. This small town located in the Upper Peninsula on Lake Superior has a rich history tied to Michigan copper mining, and museums at Fort Wilkins State Park and the Copper Harbor

Lighthouse are a great way to look into the past.

For the outdoor enthusiast there is fishing, kayaking, hiking and so much more. Several tour companies operate out of Copper Harbor and offer a number of exciting experiences. This has been a favorite spot of my families and mine to visit for years.

Amazingly Pure Michigan
by: Leighna Fischer

Copper Harbor is as wonderful and fun as it is beautiful! No cells work unless you hike (or drive) up Brockway Mountain, making this town even more quaint, quiet, and pure. I highly advise you to watch the sunset atop Brockway Mt. On a very clear day/evening, you can see Isle Royal in the distance! Just breathtaking...
