Travel+Leisure Family magazine even named the Grand Hotel one of the best resorts in the world for families! It is complete with fabulous shops, great dining choices and even home to one of our top 3 Michigan golf courses, the Jewel. Now the it is entirely air conditioned...you just have to visit.
This hotel is also a winner of the 2012 Best of Michigan Awards for being the Best Honeymoon Destination. It received thousands of votes in this category and was a finalists in several others!
Located in the heart of Main Street, The Chippewa Hotel offers Victorian style atmosphere with modern amenities right on the waterfront. To make it even more relaxing, they are now also offering spa services to all their guests through the Lilac Tree Spa. Some Mackinac Island visitors say that they just won’t stay anywhere else.

Located a just two blocks from downtown Mackinac Island, the Island House claims to be the "Best Family Hotel on the Island" It is a balance of convenience and relaxation. They have absolutely luxurious and exquisite guest rooms or suites and grand views of the Straits of Mackinac and Mackinac Bridge. The first time we stumbled upon this hotel, we were hooked!
